watched House yesterday. It was interesting b/c the interesting case was a parasite case - and since, just a few days ago, a bunch of us had basically learned parasitology in one day (including me), we knew they were talking about! It was funny to hear Robert Sean Leonard talk about
eosinophil counts.

After House, I sat all of my friends down to do their makeup for the costume party we went to... I'd never done it before, but it was really fun. I never realized how different everyone's eyes were, and I think I was trying to impose what works on my eyes, onto theirs. It was fun, like playing dress up like little girls again. Maybe I can always do that as a backup job, in case this whole med school thing doesn't work out.

finals are over!! it feels like a new lease on life, people are going out more. We're making a trip to SF this weekend, and then maybe Lake Tahoe for some boarding next Tues... the holidays are definitely in the air, need to get Christmas shopping done earlier this year. I always say, "oh yeah, I'll buy my presents in Korea" but that NEVER happens (you also don't want to buy your mom's present at a shee-jang, or an outdoor street market).

It's getting cold here, or maybe just foggy. It felt like the holidays. I can't wait til Thanksgiving! My whole family's coming up - incl all my cousins and even my sisters that I haven't seen in (what feels like) forever. From the Macy's Thanksgiving parade (I almost slept through it last year!) to chillin' with family, and to all that food - yum! I can't wait.
