Chief complaint: painful ankle
Physical exam: on the superomedial aspect of the lateral malleolus, a hard edematous and red and warm nodule the size of a small avocado.

i haven't sprained my ankle in such a long time, and it's never been this swollen... even in my ballet days, I don't remember it being this bad. argh, I hate staying at home and doing nothing... the only position that's comfortable keeping my foot elevated, is when i'm lying down on my sofa with my foot on the arm rest, watching tv. :P I can't even study with my foot elevated! ;)
