baked pasta

i saw on 30 minute meals, rachel ray was spooning out this very cheesy baked pasta onto a plate, with the cheese dripping. so i whipped up some of my own - except i think my broiler was on too high, so before the cheese could melt, it literally crisp-ed (not burnt black, but it was hot enough to dry out the cheese before it melted).
